At The Potager, we believe in using the very freshest local ingredients to create simple, elegant and tasty dishes. Our kitchen garden supplies nearly all of the vegetables, salads and herbs on your plate - freshly picked each morning.

Barnsley House's Executive Head Chef, John Jewell and his team create a changing, seasonal menu featuring vegetables and herbs freshly picked from our kitchen garden. Working closely with local farmers, specialist buchers and sustainable fishmongers, the team are passionate about showcasing Cotswolds produce and ingredients so our guests can enjoy an exceptional dining experience in the warm and welcoming surroundings of the Potager.


Afternoon Tea: 12:30 - 3:30pm Monday to Saturday

Sunday Lunch: 12.00pm - 2.30pm

Dinner: 6.30pm - 9.30pm (last orders 8:45)

Looking out of floor-to-ceiling windows onto our acclaimed garden, The Potager is a light-filled space where simplicity and elegance are the cornerstone of both the space and the food. As the weather warms up we throw open the windows or invite you to dine outdoors. Book for a luxurious afternoon tea or a delicious dinner for two... you don't have to be a hotel guest to enjoy The Potager.
