The Potager

Lovingly tended from garden to plate

Freshly baked bread, rosemary-infused oil, garden-fresh vegetables and local produce. At The Potager, we're passionate about using fresh local ingredients to create simple, elegant and delicious dishes. In fact, nearly all of the vegetables, salads and herbs on your plate have been picked the very same day from our very own kitchen garden… and you can't get much fresher than that.

Taste the difference

Simple and seasonal

Our Executive Head Chef, David Williams and his team create delicious seasonal menus using vegetables and herbs harvested from our own kitchen garden. We also work closely with local farmers, specialist butchers and sustainable fishmongers to source the very best local produce. That's what The Potager is all about… showcasing our bountiful garden and the best produce that the Cotswolds has to offer.

Opening times:  The Potager will be re-opening for non-residents wishing to join us for afternoon tea from 26th October or for Sunday lunch from 1st November

Afternoon Tea: 12.30pm - 5.00pm  (Monday-Saturday)

Sunday Lunch: 12.30pm-3.00pm

Taste the garden harvest

Peaceful and serene dining

Floor-to-ceiling windows in The Potager showcase the splendour of the gardens and in warmer months they are thrown open to let the sounds and scents of the garden inside… and occasionally our resident robin. A lingering lunch, dinner for two or traditional afternoon tea… you don't have to be a hotel guest to enjoy The Potager.
