Describing her as the ‘queen bee of English country house gardening’, Stephen Anderton includes Rosemary Verey in his new book, ‘Lives of the Great Gardeners’ alongside the likes of US President Thomas Jefferson, Claude Monet, William Kent, Humphrey Repton, Capability Brown, Vita Sackville-West and Christopher Bradley-Hole.
Returning to Rosemary Verey’s former family home, The Times’s garden writer will present his latest book to a lunchtime audience and highlight her appearance among his pantheon of gardening greats.
Join us from 12.30pm for 1pm for a two course lunch with a glass of wine.
Copies of ‘Lives of the Great Gardeners’ will be available for sale and signing at the lunch.
